6 Days - Esna / Aswan Every Monday
Day 1: Arrival in Esna – Embarkation & Temple of Khnum Visit

Begin your Nour El Nil adventure with Egypt Top Tours in the charming town of Esna, approximately 55 kilometers south of Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll board your elegant dahabiya and meet the friendly crew. After settling in, enjoy a short walking tour to the Temple of Khnum, an ancient site that lies 9 meters below present-day street level. Stroll through vibrant local markets filled with handmade textiles and authentic Egyptian goods before returning to your boat to begin sailing south along the Nile.

Day 2: El Kab & Edfu – Hidden Tombs and the Temple of Horus

After breakfast on board, the Nour El Nil Dahabiya docks at El Kab, once the capital of Upper Egypt. Here, you'll take a peaceful walk through a quiet fishing village to visit the temple of Nekhbet and the hillside tombs of nobles, beautifully adorned with ancient wall paintings.

In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Edfu, home to one of Egypt’s most remarkable temples – the Temple of Horus. A horse-drawn carriage will carry you through the bustling streets to this well-preserved Greco-Roman masterpiece. After returning to the boat, you’ll continue sailing to a tranquil island for a relaxing overnight.

Day 3: Nile Sailing & Desert Walk – Swim Stop Included

Day 4: Gebel El Silsileh – Sandstone Quarries & Riverbank Picnic

After breakfast, explore Gebel El Silsileh, one of the lesser-visited treasures along the Nile. Here, the river narrows dramatically, creating a breathtaking landscape. Visit the small temple of Horemheb and walk through the impressive sandstone quarries, where blocks were carved for temples like Karnak and Luxor.

After your exploration, continue sailing to a quiet stretch of riverbank where you’ll enjoy a delicious open-air lunch and a swim in the Nile.

Day 5: Kom Ombo Temple & Crocodile Museum

After touring the temple, visit the Crocodile Museum, which houses a fascinating collection of mummified crocodiles and ancient relics. Your journey continues sailing toward Aswan.

Day 6: Disembarkation in Aswan

While not as scenic as previous stops, your final morning offers a chance to relax and reflect on the tranquil beauty of the Nile before your transfer to any location in Aswan.

We aim to provide the best rates and maintain their accuracy. Once you confirm Nour El Nil Cruise, our rates remain fixed and may not change.

Nour El Nil Payment Policy

To secure your desired program and ensure availability, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required to secure your booking, except during the Christmas and New Year holidays when a deposit of 50% is necessary. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment. The remaining balance can be settled up to one week before your arrival date or in cash upon your arrival.

 

Cancellation Policy For Nour El Nil Dahabiya

• Cancellations made from the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.

Furthermore, please note that cancellation fees may also apply to domestic flights within Egypt according to the airline's specific cancellation policy.
