6 Days - Esna / Aswan Every Monday
Day 1: Welcome aboard in Esna – Explore Khnum Temple

Begin your Malouka Dahabiya Nile Cruise in Esna, a charming merchant town located about 33 miles south of Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed aboard the Malouka Dahabiya, where you'll meet the friendly crew and settle into your elegant cabin.

Your adventure begins with a guided stroll through Esna’s vibrant streets, followed by a visit to the Temple of Khnum, a hidden gem that lies 9 meters below current street level. The temple’s carvings and sacred atmosphere offer a unique introduction to ancient Egyptian worship and architecture.

Day 2: El Kab – Ancient Tombs & Edfu Temple

Today, sail toward El Kab, once the capital of Upper Egypt and home to the temple of Nekhbet and several remarkable tombs carved into the cliffs. Disembark for a scenic walk through a small fishing village to reach the necropolis, where your guide will explain the rich history of the site.

In the afternoon, the Malouka Dahabiya arrives at Edfu, home to the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. A traditional horse-drawn carriage will take you through the lively town to visit the temple, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus.

Return to the dahabiya and sail towards a tranquil island for the evening.

Day 3: Relaxing Sail & Desert Walk

This day is dedicated to the majestic Nile. Enjoy a peaceful morning with an optional walk before breakfast, then spend the day sailing through picturesque stretches of the river aboard Malouka Dahabiya.

In the afternoon, stop at a serene Nile island where you can take a dip in the river or enjoy a peaceful stroll. Later, walk into the desert along an ancient trail lined with prehistoric inscriptions and hieroglyphs, marking the path once used to reach Libya.

As night falls, your dahabiya will anchor beneath the illuminated Temple of Gebel el Silsileh, setting a magical atmosphere for the evening.

Day 4: Gebel el Silsileh – Quarry Temples & Scenic Sail

Wake up to the dramatic cliffs of Gebel el Silsileh, where the Nile is at its narrowest. Unlike larger cruise ships, Malouka Dahabiya Nile Cruise grants you exclusive access to this fascinating site. Explore the rock-cut temple of Horemheb and the surrounding sandstone quarries, where stones were once carved for Egypt’s greatest temples.

Continue sailing along the scenic riverbanks, stopping for lunch and a refreshing swim at a peaceful location, surrounded by nothing but nature and the soft sounds of the river.

Day 5: Kom Ombo – Temple of Sobek & Crocodile Museum

After a tranquil night under the stars, sail toward Kom Ombo, uniquely situated on a bend of the Nile. Disembark to explore the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris, dedicated to two gods and filled with remarkable reliefs and inscriptions.

Continue to the Crocodile Museum, which houses a fascinating collection of mummified crocodiles and relics from the region’s ancient worship of the crocodile god Sobek.

After your visit, return to the boat for your final evening on the Nile.

Day 6: Disembarkation in Aswan

Our tour rates are in US dollars per person per trip. You can also pay in Euro or GBP. Prices might vary during Christmas, New Year, and Easter Nile Cruise Vacations. We aim to provide the best rates and maintain their accuracy. Once you confirm Malouka , our rates remain fixed and may not change.

Malouka Dahabiya Nile Cruise Payment Policy

To secure your desired program and ensure availability, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required to secure your booking, except during the Christmas and New Year holidays when a deposit of 50% is necessary. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment. The remaining balance can be settled up to one week before your arrival date or in cash upon your arrival.

 

Cancellation Policy For Malouka

• Cancellations made from the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.

Furthermore, please note that cancellation fees may also apply to domestic flights within Egypt according to the airline's specific cancellation policy.
