The Amwaj Livingstone Nile Cruise is a 5-star deluxe Nile cruise offering an elegant way to discover the ancient treasures of Upper Egypt while sailing between Luxor and Aswan. Operating from Luxor every Thursday and from Aswan every Monday, the cruise combines comfortable accommodation, onboard dining, leisure facilities, and guided sightseeing at Egypt's most famous temples.
During the journey, guests can explore the temples of Karnak, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae, as well as the High Dam and the legendary monuments of Luxor's West Bank. Itinerary:
4 Days - Aswan / Luxor Every Monday
Day 1: Aswan – Philae Temple, High Dam
Your Amwaj Livingstone Nile Cruise journey begins with a convenient private pickup from Aswan Airport, Aswan railway station, or your hotel, according to your arrival arrangements.
You will be transferred to the cruise ship for embarkation before lunch. After check-in, enjoy lunch on board before beginning your Aswan sightseeing.
Visit the impressive High Dam, one of Egypt's most important modern engineering projects, before continuing to Philae Temple. Located on Agilkia Island, this beautiful temple complex is dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis and is reached by a short motorboat ride across the Nile.
After the temple visit, enjoy a traditional felucca ride around Kitchener's Island, offering a relaxing way to experience the Nile and admire Aswan's river scenery.
Return to the cruise for dinner and enjoy your first evening on board.

Day 2: Kom Ombo Temple – Sail to Edfu
Enjoy breakfast on board while the cruise begins sailing north along the Nile. Relax on the deck and watch the scenery change from the rocky landscapes around Aswan to the fertile agricultural areas along the river.
After lunch, continue sailing toward Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the unusual Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique sanctuary dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Explore its symmetrical design, impressive columns, reliefs, and ancient inscriptions while your guide explains the religious traditions associated with the temple.
Return to the ship and continue sailing toward Edfu. Enjoy afternoon tea on board and take some time to relax as the cruise continues through Upper Egypt.
Dinner will be served on board before spending the night near Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu Temple – Sail to Luxor – East Bank
Start the morning with a light refreshment before heading ashore to visit the magnificent Temple of Horus at Edfu. The temple is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples and is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god.
After the visit, return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Luxor via the Esna Lock. Breakfast and lunch will be served on board as you enjoy the peaceful Nile scenery from the deck.
Upon arrival in Luxor, begin your exploration of the East Bank. Visit Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious complexes ever built, with its monumental pylons, enormous columns, obelisks, and sacred precincts.
Continue to Luxor Temple, located in the heart of modern Luxor. Its grand entrance, statues, courtyards, and colonnades offer a fascinating glimpse into the religious and political history of ancient Thebes.
Return to the cruise for dinner followed by evening entertainment, including a belly dancer show.

Day 4: Luxor West Bank – Disembarkation
Enjoy your final breakfast on board before checking out from the Amwaj Livingstone Nile Cruise.
After disembarkation, your private guide and driver will accompany you to the Luxor West Bank. Explore the famous Valley of the Kings, home to the elaborately decorated tombs of Egypt's New Kingdom pharaohs.
Continue to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, dramatically built against the cliffs and known for its impressive terraces and architectural design.
Your final stop will be the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Day 1: Luxor East Bank – Embarkation
Your Amwaj Livingstone Nile Cruise begins with a private pickup from Luxor Airport, Luxor railway station, or your Luxor hotel and transfer to the cruise ship for embarkation before lunch.
After check-in, enjoy lunch on board before starting your sightseeing on the East Bank of Luxor.
Visit Karnak Temple, the largest ancient religious complex in Egypt, where monumental gateways, massive columns, obelisks, and sacred temples reveal the importance of ancient Thebes.

MS Amwaj Nile Cruise Payment Policy
To secure your desired program and ensure availability, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required to secure your booking, except during the Christmas and New Year holidays when a deposit of 50% is necessary. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment. The remaining balance can be settled up to one week before your arrival date or in cash upon your arrival.

Please note that the MS Amwaj Living Stone Nile Cruise doesn't include entrance fees to the special archaeological sites, such as entering the interior of the Tomb of Tutankhamun at the Valley of the Kings in Luxor. Separate fees apply for these attractions.
Cancellation Policy For MS Amwaj Cruise
• Cancellations made from the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
Furthermore, please note that cancellation fees may also apply to domestic flights within Egypt according to the airline's specific cancellation policy.
