Is the MS Nile Style Worth It?

Yes. The MS Nile Style delivers genuine value through its guarantee that every cabin commands a Nile view—a feature that transforms passive accommodation into active participation in Egypt’s riverside landscape. Unlike larger flagship cruises, the five-deck layout creates a human-scaled environment where you’re never anonymous, yet all essential comforts (gym, pool, Wi-Fi, fine dining) remain intact. This ship rewards travelers who prioritize the quality of their floating base over sheer onboard spectacle, and benefits families or small groups seeking private guided tours without premium positioning.

Compared to the Steigenberger Regency and MS Crown Jewel, the MS Nile Style operates at a lower price point ($649–$1,579 vs. typically $800–$2,200) while maintaining comparable cabin counts and itinerary scope. The Steigenberger Regency caters to luxury-focused travelers willing to pay more for enhanced spa facilities and premium dining; the MS Crown Jewel targets larger group bookings with greater onboard capacity and more entertainment options. Choose the MS Nile Style if your priority is value-for-comfort over spa amenities or entertainment programming.

The MS Nile Style maximizes value for independent travelers, couples on a budget, and cultural explorers who measure a cruise’s worth by itinerary depth and cabin quality rather than onboard resort features. For those seeking the cheapest passage, larger mega-ships may compete; for those seeking ultra-luxury, five-star alternatives exist elsewhere. The MS Nile Style occupies the sweet spot: affordable authenticity with zero-compromise views.

Who Is the MS Nile Style Best For?

  • Couples seeking intimacy and unobstructed Nile vistas without mega-ship anonymity or excessive onboard crowds.
  • First-time Egypt visitors prioritizing archaeological immersion over resort-style amenities, with fixed-day schedules (Monday/Friday departures).
  • Budget-conscious groups of 4–8 sharing cabins who value private guided tours and all-inclusive transparency (entrance fees, transfers, guide included).
  • Mature travelers or those with reduced mobility who prefer a compact five-deck vessel with manageable corridors and consistent cabin-to-deck accessibility.

Who Should Not Book the MS Nile Style?

  • Travelers seeking cutting-edge spa facilities or wellness centers—consider the Steigenberger Royale, which offers thermal suites, hammams, and specialized wellness programming.
  • Large groups requiring extensive onboard entertainment, multiple bars, or nightly cabaret shows—the Royal Beau Rivage provides 300+ cabins with full resort infrastructure.
  • Those inflexible on departure dates requiring mid-week or daily sailing options—the Farida Nile Cruise operates on a more frequent weekly schedule with staggered start times.

Egypt Top Tours Expert Assessment

“The MS Nile Style’s defining strength lies in the promise that every cabin opens onto the Nile—a commitment that forces intentional, intimate design rather than sprawling onboard complexity. For the Luxor–Aswan corridor, this matters profoundly: you observe the riverine landscape, Nile settlements, and daily Egyptian life from your private refuge, reinforcing the emotional core of a Nile cruise rather than insulating you from it. The inclusion of private guided tours, entrance fees, and English-language Egyptologists ensures intellectual engagement matches visual beauty. The ideal guest is someone traveling to Egypt for the history and the river itself, not to offshore themselves in a floating resort.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every cabin really have a Nile view on the MS Nile Style?
Yes—all 77 cabins are configured with Nile views as a core design principle. This includes standard triple and double cabins, not just suites. Even lower-category cabins enjoy panoramic windows and individually controlled positioning, ensuring no guest is relegated to an interior or side-facing room.

How does the MS Nile Style compare to the Steigenberger Regency for a first-time Egypt visitor?
The MS Nile Style offers superior value ($649 vs. ~$900+ entry pricing) and identical archaeological itineraries; the Steigenberger Regency justifies its premium through expanded spa services, larger suites, and more elaborate onboard dining venues. Choose the MS Nile Style if you want maximum budget allocation for optional tours (Abu Simbel, Nubian villages) and prefer a quieter social environment.

Are all meals and entrance fees truly included in the advertised price?
Yes. The MS Nile Style rate includes full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner), all entrance fees to temples and monuments, private guided tours, airport/railway transfers, bottled water during excursions, and service charges. Only optional excursions, personal spending, and gratuities fall outside the package.
