Itinerary:
4 Days - Abusimbel / Aswan Every Friday
Day 01: Embarkation – Visit Abu Simbel
Our representative will collect you from your hotel in Abu Simbel or from Abu Simbel Airport and transfer you to board your Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Cruise. Embarkation and check-in at 13:00. Enjoy lunch on board before visiting the iconic Abu Simbel Temples, built by Pharaoh Ramesses II and later relocated due to the High Dam construction. These majestic rock-cut temples are among the most remarkable in Egypt.
Return to the cruise for afternoon tea and leisure time. Dinner and overnight stay onboard.

Day 02: Sail to Kasr Ibrim – Visit Amada – Sail to Wadi El Seboua
Enjoy breakfast on board as you sail to Kasr Ibrim. View the Citadel from the sun deck — once a towering city above the Nile, now an island due to Lake Nasser. After lunch on board, join your guide to explore the Temple of Amada, built by Thutmose III, and later expanded by Amenhotep II and Thutmose IV.
Continue to the Temple of Derr, a stunning rock-cut temple by Ramesses II, and the Tomb of Pennut, an ancient burial site of a Viceroy of Kush that was also relocated to escape the rising waters of the lake.
Later, return to the cruise for a cocktail reception and a vibrant Nubian folklore show.

Day 03: Visit Wadi El Seboua – Sail to Aswan
After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Wadi El Seboua, home to impressive relocated temples including those of Dakka and Maharraqa. Explore the famed “Valley of the Lions” lined with sphinxes, and admire the remaining temple architecture from the New Kingdom period.
Return to the cruise for lunch as you sail toward Aswan. Dinner and overnight onboard in Aswan.

Day 04: Visit Kalabsha Temple – Disembarkation
After breakfast, join your Egyptologist guide for a tour of the Kalabsha Temple, originally located 30 miles south and relocated after the building of the Aswan High Dam. Built during the Ptolemaic period and completed under Roman rule, this temple is dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis and features both Egyptian and Roman imagery.
After the visit, disembark from your Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Cruise. Our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Aswan or your next destination.

Day 01: Arrival in Aswan – Aswan Sightseeing – Embarkation
Upon arrival in Aswan, our representative will greet you and transfer you to embark on the Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Cruise. After check-in, enjoy lunch on board.
In the afternoon, explore the highlights of Aswan, starting with the High Dam, built in 1960 to control the Nile's floodwaters. Continue by motorboat to Agilika Island to visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Finally, visit the impressive Unfinished Obelisk, still attached to the bedrock in the ancient granite quarries.
Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 02: Visit Kalabsha Temple & Beit El Wali – Sail to Wadi El Seboua
Enjoy breakfast on board before visiting Kalabsha Temple, relocated from its original site to avoid submersion after the construction of the High Dam. The temple, built during the late Ptolemaic and Roman periods, honors the Nubian god Mandulis and features a fusion of Egyptian and Roman art.
Continue to Beit El Wali, a small rock-cut temple built by Ramesses II and relocated with international assistance. Admire its cruciform layout and colorful reliefs depicting military victories and scenes of worship.
Return to the cruise for lunch. In the afternoon, Movenpick Prince Abbas sets sail toward Wadi El Seboua, passing the Tropic of Cancer en route. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 03: Explore Wadi El Seboua & Dakka Temples – Sail to Amada
After breakfast, disembark to visit Wadi El Seboua, meaning “Valley of the Lions.” This site features a sphinx-lined avenue leading to the temple built by Ramesses II. Visit the nearby Temple of Dakka, dedicated to Thoth, and the Temple of Maharraqa, known for its preserved spiral staircase.
Return to the cruise for lunch as you sail to Amada. Dinner and overnight onboard near Amada.

Day 04: Visit Amada – Kasr Ibrim – Sail to Abu Simbel
Enjoy breakfast on board before visiting Amada Temple, the oldest monument in Nubia dating back to Thutmose III. See the well-preserved reliefs and vivid colors inside. Continue to the Temple of Derr, another rock-cut sanctuary built by Ramesses II, and the Tomb of Pennut, belonging to the Viceroy of Kush.
Sail to Kasr Ibrim, the only ancient site in Nubia still in its original location. View the ruins from the sun deck as landing is not permitted.
Later, cruise to Abu Simbel and enjoy dinner on board.

To secure your desired program and ensure availability, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required to secure your booking, except during the Christmas and New Year holidays when a deposit of 50% is necessary. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment. The remaining balance can be settled up to one week before your arrival date or in cash upon your arrival.
Cancellation Policy For Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Cruise
• Cancellations made from the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
