You’ll be transferred by private vehicle to board your deluxe cruise. After a smooth check-in and lunch onboard, embark on an awe-inspiring visit to the Abu Simbel Temples. These colossal monuments, originally carved into the mountainside by Pharaoh Ramses II, were relocated in the 1960s to protect them from rising waters after the construction of the High Dam.
Marvel at the sheer scale and symmetry of the Great Temple and the smaller Temple of Queen Nefertari. Later in the afternoon, relax on the sundeck with tea and take in the beauty of the lake. Dinner and overnight stay onboard.
Optional: Attend the mesmerizing Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel in the evening for an unforgettable audio-visual journey through time.
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Sail to Kasr Ibrim – Visit Amada, Derr & Tomb of Pennut
Enjoy breakfast as the cruise begins sailing northward. From the sundeck, admire the distant view of Kasr Ibrim, the last surviving Nubian fortress above water, now standing as an island after Lake Nasser’s formation. While landing is not permitted, the panoramic view from the cruise offers a great photo opportunity.
Later, disembark to visit three exceptional sites:
- Amada Temple, the oldest monument around Lake Nasser, known for its vivid wall inscriptions and peaceful location.
- Temple of Derr, a rock-cut sanctuary built by Ramses II on the eastern Nile bank.
- Tomb of Pennut, a rare rock-cut tomb of a Viceroy of Nubia, moved from its original site to escape flooding.
Return to the ship for lunch. In the evening, enjoy a Nubian cultural show and cocktail reception onboard. Overnight sailing toward Wadi El Seboua.

Day 3: Discover Wadi El Seboua Temples – Sail to Aswan
Start your day with an early visit to Wadi El Seboua, or “Valley of the Lions,” home to two grand temples relocated from the rising lakebed. Walk along the sphinx-lined avenue leading to the temple built by Amenhotep III, dedicated to the Nubian Horus. Continue to explore the Temple of Dakka, known for its astronomical inscriptions, and the nearby Temple of Maharraqa.
