In Egypt you will stand beneath the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, explore the treasures of Cairo, and travel south to Luxor and Aswan for the Valley of the Kings, the temples of Karnak and Luxor, the island temple of Philae and the colourful Nubian villages of the Nile.

You then cross to Morocco, where the grand Hassan II Mosque of Casablanca and the vibrant souks and gardens of Marrakech bring a completely different rhythm to your trip. Privately guided from start to finish, it strikes an easy balance between heritage and adventure — never rushed, never dull.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1

    Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

    On arrival at Cairo International Airport, your Egypt Top Tours representative will meet you, help with the entry and visa formalities, and transfer you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. After an easy check-in, the evening is free to relax before your adventure begins. Overnight in Cairo.

    Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

    After breakfast, meet your guide and set out for the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a good local restaurant before exploring the Egyptian Museum and its remarkable ancient collection. Time permitting, you'll also wander the lively lanes of the Khan El Khalili bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

  • Day 3

    Day 3: Fly from Cairo to Luxor

    After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor, Egypt's ancient capital. On the West Bank you'll explore the Valley of the Kings, burial place of pharaohs such as Tutankhamun and Ramses II, with its vivid painted tombs; the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built by Egypt's only female pharaoh; and the towering Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, cross to the East Bank for the vast Karnak Temple complex and the elegant Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor.

  • Day 4

    Day 4: Luxor to Aswan – Aswan Sightseeing

    After breakfast, travel south to Aswan on the Nile. Begin at the beautiful island Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, then visit the Aswan High Dam, a landmark of modern engineering that controls the Nile's floods and generates hydroelectric power. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, abandoned in its ancient quarry, before enjoying a motorboat ride to a Nubian village to meet a local family and experience their warm culture. Overnight in Aswan.

  • Day 5

    Day 5: Aswan to Cairo – Cairo to Casablanca

    After breakfast and check-out, take the morning flight from Aswan to Cairo, where a short connection leads to your international flight to Casablanca. On arrival at Mohammed V Airport, your local guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Settle in and rest ahead of exploring Morocco. Overnight in Casablanca.

    Day 6: Casablanca City Tour – Transfer to Marrakech

    After breakfast, a guided tour of Casablanca begins at the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship set on the Atlantic. Visit the Moroccan Jewish Museum — the only one of its kind in the Arab world — then, after lunch, browse the bustling souk and admire the city's Art Deco landmarks and the Habous quarter. In the evening you'll be driven on to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.

    Day 7: Exploring Marrakech

    After breakfast, discover Marrakech with your local guide. Start at the enchanting Majorelle Garden, created by the painter Jacques Majorelle, then take in the serene Menara Gardens with their olive groves and pavilion. Admire the landmark Koutoubia Mosque before a traditional horse-drawn 'koutchi' carriage ride to the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter. After lunch, end the day amid the colour and energy of Jamaa El Fna square. Overnight in Marrakech.
